A Portsmouth man identified as a member of the “600” street gang was sentenced to 10 years and 10 months in federal prison for carjacking and brandishing a firearm during a violent crime.
Court documents state that on July 10, 2022, Cedric Rashad Davis Jr., also known as Ced, Luh Ced, or Grim Reaper, age 22, robbed an individual in Virginia Beach at gunpoint and demanded the keys to the victim’s vehicle. After receiving the keys, Davis drove away from the scene.
The following day, Davis streamed videos on Instagram showing himself driving the stolen vehicle and holding a handgun. Investigators later found text messages on his phone in which he tried to sell the stolen car.
