A self-represented plaintiff has filed a federal lawsuit alleging defamation and invasion of privacy against several judges. Ronald Satish Emrit, who identifies as a presidential candidate, submitted the complaint on December 9, 2025, in the United States District Court for the Western District of Virginia. The defendants include Chief Judge Derrick Watson and other judicial figures from Hawaii.

The plaintiff’s complaint centers around accusations that these judges have unjustly labeled him as a “frivolous and vexatious litigant.” Emrit argues that this label is damaging to his reputation and career, particularly as he is recognized by the Federal Election Commission as a presidential candidate. He contends that his legal actions are part of a broader political narrative rather than frivolous litigation. Emrit states that his lawsuits aim to address substantive issues such as constitutional law and physics rather than procedural technicalities.

Emrit claims that his reputation has been further damaged by misinformation spread through artificial intelligence on search engines, which allegedly misrepresent his educational background. He asserts that he holds degrees from Brown University and Saint Thomas University School of Law, countering claims to the contrary. Emrit’s grievances extend beyond personal defamation; he accuses the defendants of tortious interference with business relations and public nuisance, citing unwanted advertisements disrupting his online experience.

In terms of relief, Emrit seeks an extraordinary sum of $500 billion in damages for what he describes as tortious interference with contracts and business relations. He also requests injunctive relief to prevent unwanted advertising on platforms like YouTube, arguing for tailored advertisements from approved vendors only.

Representing himself pro se, Ronald Satish Emrit is seeking punitive damages alongside compensatory measures for alleged violations of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 among other grievances. The case is presided over by Judge Elizabeth K. Dillon under Case ID 5:25-cv-00139-EKD-JCH.
