A joint law enforcement operation in Danville, Virginia, led to the arrest of 96 individuals wanted for violent felonies and the seizure of drugs, firearms, and cash. The operation, called “No Limits,” was a collaboration between local, state, and federal agencies including the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Virginia, the Virginia Attorney General’s Office, Danville Police Department, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (BATFE), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Department of Homeland Security-Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), Pittsylvania County Sheriff’s Office, Virginia State Police, Danville Department of Probation and Parole, and the United States Marshals Service.

The weeklong effort resulted in apprehending 96 offenders with outstanding felony warrants. Authorities also identified an additional 23 offenders who were already incarcerated in other jurisdictions but had active warrants. During the operation, law enforcement seized more than 55 grams of fentanyl—an amount authorities say could be lethal to over 27,600 people—along with 15 firearms, 28 grams of cocaine, over five pounds of ammunition, 65 grams of K2 synthetic drug, and more than $14,000 in cash. A missing child was also recovered during these activities.

Those arrested face charges ranging from homicide and armed robbery to probation violations and weapons offenses. Crimes included identity theft; cruelty toward a child; malicious wounding; burglary; assault on law enforcement officers; rape; abduction by force; unlawful discharge of a firearm; larceny; indecent liberties with a child; obstruction of justice; federal supervised release violations; among others.

Acting United States Attorney Robert N. Tracci said: “I am grateful for the extraordinary work of our federal, state, and local partners who made No Limits a clear victory for Danville and the citizens we serve. The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District is determined to build on the success of No Limits to target, prosecute, and ultimately eradicate violent crime, drug trafficking, and transnational criminal threats to our citizen and communities.”

Virginia Attorney General Jason Miyares stated: “Operation No Limits is an exceptional example of our tireless work with local, state, and federal law enforcement partners to make Virginia communities safer, demonstrating once again the effectiveness of Ceasefire Virginia. We will continue partnering with law enforcement across the Commonwealth, particularly in our Ceasefire cities, to hold violent, dangerous, and repeat offenders accountable. My sincere thanks to all law enforcement who collaborated to the success of this operation and to U.S. Attorney Robert Tracci for continued partnership with our office.”
