A Dunnsville resident, Brian Keith Anderson, 48, has been sentenced to six years and eight months in federal prison following convictions for distributing methamphetamine and selling a firearm to a convicted felon.
Court documents indicate that between January 16, 2024, and February 25, 2025, Anderson was involved in seven controlled drug purchases arranged by law enforcement. Over this period, he distributed approximately 117 grams of methamphetamine. On June 14, 2024, during one of these operations, Anderson also sold a handgun to an individual he knew had a prior felony conviction.
Investigators executed a search warrant at Anderson’s home and vehicle on March 5. They recovered $1,160 in cash, nine firearms along with magazines and ammunition, two digital scales with methamphetamine residue, and a square tab containing LSD.
Special Assistant U.S. Attorney Eric Gilliland from the Virginia Attorney General’s Office and Assistant U.S. Attorney Angela Mastandrea prosecuted the case.
