Cycurion, Inc., a company providing network communications and information technology security solutions, along with its CEO Kevin Kelly, has filed a lawsuit in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. The complaint, lodged on February 18, 2026, targets two anonymous defendants known only by their online aliases, John Doe 1 (E1111) and John Doe 2 (em2391). These defendants are accused of making false and defamatory statements about Cycurion and Kelly on social media platforms Stocktwits and Reddit.

The plaintiffs allege that the defendants engaged in a campaign of defamation with malicious intent to harm Cycurion’s reputation and financial standing. According to the complaint, these statements falsely portrayed Cycurion as a fraudulent enterprise involved in illegal activities such as stock manipulation and investor fraud. For instance, one post from March 4, 2025, by E1111 claimed that Cycurion was releasing misleading news to manipulate stock prices. Another post on August 13, 2025, by em2391 alleged that Cycurion had no real office or employees and was involved in pump-and-dump schemes.

Kevin Kelly is also personally targeted in these posts. Allegations against him include accusations of personal financial mismanagement and deceitful business practices. Posts from E1111 describe Kelly as having significant personal debts and engaging in “savage dilution” of company stock. Em2391 further accuses Kelly of orchestrating a scam under the guise of Cycurion due to his inability to secure employment at reputable companies.

In response to these allegations, Cycurion and Kelly assert their innocence regarding any form of securities fraud or market manipulation. They emphasize their legitimate business operations serving numerous government agencies and private entities with cybersecurity services. The plaintiffs argue that the defamatory statements have caused significant harm to their professional reputations and business prospects.

The plaintiffs seek compensatory damages for the injuries suffered due to these defamatory statements. They also request injunctive relief to prevent further publication of false information about them by the defendants. Additionally, they seek orders requiring the removal of all defamatory content from Stocktwits and Reddit. The case underscores ongoing challenges faced by businesses dealing with anonymous online defamation in an era where social media can significantly impact corporate reputations.

Representing Cycurion and Kevin Kelly are attorneys David C. Gutkowski from Ward & Berry PLLC as local counsel and Peter R. Ginsberg from Moskowitz Colson Ginsberg & Schulman LLP. The case is presided over under Case ID: 1:26-cv-00489.
