Attorney General Jason Miyares has announced the launch of a national claims process for customers of Wall & Associates, Inc., a tax debt settlement company. This initiative allows affected individuals to identify themselves as potentially eligible for restitution.

Following a trial in 2024, the Fauquier County Circuit Court found that Wall & Associates, Inc. misrepresented its salespeople’s expertise as “tax consultants,” provided misleading information about average results or savings from their services, and inaccurately described the geographic area where services would be performed.

The court has mandated that Wall & Associates, Inc., formerly known as E. Kenneth Wall & Associates, Inc., and doing business as Mayfair Tax Help & Relief, Inc., Mayfair Tax Help, Inc., and Mayfair Tax, Inc., must pay restitution to qualified customers who register their claims with Verus, LLC. Verus is serving as the claims administrator for this case.

Customers must submit their claims by December 10, 2025, to be considered for restitution. Verus has set up an online portal at www.WallConsumerClass.com to facilitate customer registration. Customers can also reach out to Verus via phone at 609-283-5393 or by mail at P.O. Box 6535, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.

Currently, the court has not yet established eligibility criteria or determined the amount of restitution each eligible customer will receive.
